Custom engraving options on Lutron keypads

I'm in the middle of a whole-home Lutron RadioRA 3 installation and want to add custom engraving to my seeTouch keypads. I've seen some beautiful examples online with homeowner names, room labels, and even small icons etched into the buttons.
My questions are:
1. Does Lutron offer official engraving services, or is this typically done through third parties?
2. What's the turnaround time and approximate cost per keypad?
3. Are there limitations on font choices or the ability to add custom graphics/icons?
4. For those who've done this - any regrets or things you wish you'd done differently?
I'm planning to have about 12 keypads throughout the house, mostly 6-button configurations. Some will be simple scene labels (Relax, Entertain, Good Night, etc.) but I'd also love to have some custom icons for things like the home theater and pool controls.
Also curious if anyone has experience with the Palladiom keypads and engraving options there - we're considering upgrading a few high-visibility locations to those for the premium look.

We do custom engraving on almost every project. A few tips from years of experience:
1. Always order a few extra blank buttons - clients inevitably want changes after living with the system
2. Keep text SHORT - "Movie" is better than "Home Theater Mode"
3. Lutron's standard icon library is actually quite extensive, but for truly custom graphics you'll need to work with their design team which adds time and cost
4. For Palladiom, the engraving process is different and more expensive due to the metal finish, but the results are stunning
5. Consider future-proofing - generic labels like "Scene 1" are less elegant but more flexible than "John's Reading Light"
Budget roughly $200-400 per keypad for full custom engraving on seeTouch, more for Palladiom.

Lutron absolutely offers official engraving through their myLutron portal. Your dealer places the order and you can customize fonts, text, and select from their icon library. Turnaround is usually 2-3 weeks depending on volume. Cost runs about $15-25 per button depending on complexity.

The Palladiom engraving is next level. We have them in our main living areas and the laser-etched metal buttons look incredible. Expect to pay a premium though - ours ran about $75 per button.

Not to derail, but have you considered keypads with small LCD screens instead? More flexible for future changes without re-ordering buttons.

Thanks everyone! @HighEndIntegrator that's exactly the detailed info I needed. The tip about ordering extra blanks is gold - I hadn't thought about that. @Control4Enthusiast I did consider LCD options but prefer the clean aesthetic of engraved buttons for this project.

One thing to add - make sure your integrator shows you physical samples of the font options before committing. What looks good on screen doesn't always translate well to small button engravings. The bolder sans-serif options tend to be most legible.

Dealer only unfortunately. The myLutron design portal requires dealer credentials. Some dealers will let you sit with them while they place the order so you can see all the options in real-time.
