Integrating third-party security with Control4 lighting

Hey everyone, I'm hoping to get some guidance from the community on a project I've been wrestling with for the past few weeks. I recently had a Control4 system installed in my home for lighting control, and it's been working great. However, I also have an existing Hikvision security camera system and a 2GIG alarm panel that were installed before I went with Control4. My goal is to create some automation scenarios where the security system can trigger lighting responses. For example, when the alarm is armed in 'Away' mode, I want certain lights to run a vacation simulation pattern. When motion is detected on specific cameras at night, I'd like the exterior lights to come on at 100%. And if the alarm is ever triggered, I want all interior lights to flash or come on to full brightness. My Control4 dealer mentioned that they could potentially integrate the 2GIG panel using the 4Sight service and some IP commands, but they seemed uncertain about the Hikvision cameras. They quoted me around $2,500 just for the security integration work, which seems steep when I'm essentially just wanting to pass some simple triggers. I've done some research and found that there are supposedly drivers available for various security systems, but I'm having trouble finding concrete information about compatibility and reliability. Some forum posts I've found are several years old, and I know this industry moves fast. A few specific questions I'm hoping someone can help with: 1. Is there a reliable driver for 2GIG panels that works with current Control4 systems? I'm running OS 3.4.1. 2. For the Hikvision cameras, is there any way to get motion detection events into Control4? The cameras have ONVIF support if that matters. 3. Has anyone had success using something like a SIFELY or other middleware to bridge these systems together? 4. Would I be better off replacing the 2GIG with a Control4-native security solution? I've heard mixed things about their security offerings. 5. Are there any DIY-friendly approaches here, or is this really something that requires dealer involvement due to driver licensing? I'm fairly technical - I work in IT and have done some home automation projects before (Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi, various Z-Wave stuff). But the Control4 ecosystem seems much more closed off, which is frustrating when you're trying to do integrations like this. Any advice, experiences, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm also open to hearing about alternative approaches I might not have considered.
